How to get your site into Yandex Neuro and ChatGPT

How to get your site into Yandex Neuro and ChatGPT

For a client, Yandex Neuro and ChatGPT are two doors into the same habit: ask, and get a name. For a business they are two different data loops. Yandex Neuro pulls Yandex, the maps, and the Russian web. ChatGPT pulls its own index, GPTBot, and Western sources. Optimizing "one of them" means losing half the leads.

Below: what matters on each platform, the shared rules, the usual mistakes, and how to measure without guessing. One phone and one price list on the site are the base for both. The gap by channel shows up in GEO Score.

Yandex Neuro: what the owner needs

A site in Russian, with YandexBot open. Yandex Business and 2GIS match the NAP on the site. FAQ and prices in HTML. Mentions on the Russian web. Alice is the voice of the same ecosystem. Weak Yandex Neuro almost always means weak Alice.

Do not mix up ads in Yandex Direct and organic Yandex Neuro answers. Ads buy an impression. A recommendation in the answer is a consequence of signals. You can pay for clicks and still not exist in the free "who would you recommend".

Text Yandex Neuro in the app and Alice on a smart speaker share one principle: one connected answer. Short facts with no structure, empty listings on the maps: there is nothing to assemble you from.

How Yandex Neuro differs from classic search

In search a person sees a list and compares. In Yandex Neuro there is one connected answer. There is no fifth place. There is "named" and "not named".

Yandex Direct buys an impression in the results. Yandex Neuro on "who would you recommend" is organic signals: the site, maps, FAQ, reviews. You can pay for clicks and still not exist in the free answer.

Text Yandex Neuro and Alice are one ecosystem. Weak on one almost always means weak on the other. A different phone on the site and in Yandex Business hits both.

ChatGPT: what matters

GPTBot has to read the public pages. llms.txt with correct URLs is an index, not a replacement for content. Schema with prices and services. Mentions on sites the model already knows.

A Russian business sometimes ignores GPTBot as "Western". Clients do not: part of the audience asks ChatGPT about services in Russia. Block the bot and you hand the niche to whoever is open. On the file: robots.txt.

Shared rules for both platforms

  • One phone, one address, the same prices everywhere;
  • An FAQ with commercial questions on the service pages;
  • robots.txt with no accidental Disallow: /;
  • No fake reviews and no fake ratings in schema;
  • GEO Score every month, and three test queries.

More on the files: llms.txt. Alice: a separate article.

Five signs of a gap between channels

  1. Yandex Neuro names you. ChatGPT does not. GPTBot is closed, or the layer for Western bots is empty.
  2. ChatGPT has you. Alice is silent. The problem is YandexBot, the listings, or the Russian web.
  3. Yandex Direct is running. On "who would you recommend", other names. The organic AIO layer is empty.
  4. Prices are visible on desktop. The FAQ is empty on mobile. Half the bots see nothing.
  5. You have never compared Yandex Neuro and ChatGPT on the same query.

One closed channel is half the audience that asks "their" assistant.

One query, two answers: how to compare

Take one commercial query: "who would you recommend for [service] in [city]". Ask it in Yandex Neuro in the Yandex app. The same text in ChatGPT. Write the names down word for word. Different names mean different holes in the AIO layer. The algorithm is not being moody.

Yandex Neuro named you, ChatGPT did not: look at GPTBot, llms.txt, and mentions in sources the Western model reads. A closed GPTBot is the most common cause.

ChatGPT named you, Yandex Neuro is silent: YandexBot, Yandex Business, 2GIS, an FAQ in Russian. Yandex Direct will not help here. The organic answer is a different loop.

Both are silent, or both name a competitor: the base is robots, NAP, FAQ, and the price list. Without that, "AI articles" and prompts from Telegram will not save you.

A table for the quarter: date, query, name in Yandex Neuro, name in ChatGPT, name in Alice. Five rows show the trend better than "it seems better".

GigaChat and Perplexity follow the same rules: open bots, facts in HTML, matching listings. A full Leadsy report covers six platforms, not two.

The mobile version: half the bots visit as a phone. An FAQ that exists on desktop and is empty on mobile means you "exist" for some crawlers and "do not" for others.

A B2B query, "a CRM contractor in Kazan", draws on different sources in ChatGPT and in Yandex Neuro. A case on VC helps the Western model. Yandex Business and the Russian web help Yandex Neuro. One price list on the site serves both.

Where people break it themselves

They only optimize for Yandex

They forgot GPTBot. Half the audience asks ChatGPT. For those people you do not exist.

Or only for ChatGPT

They closed Yandex and publish "AI articles" in English. Alice and Yandex Neuro stay silent.

"AI copy" with no price list

Ten articles about AI, prices in a PDF. The model does not quote the file. The competitor with an HTML price list is in the answer.

They blocked bots after the admin was hacked

Panic, Disallow: /, and nobody opened it again. Months with no updates in what the model knows.

How to measure once a month

A Leadsy express audit puts both groups of platforms in one report. The same commercial query in Yandex Neuro and in ChatGPT. Write down who was named. A five-row table is clearer than Yandex Metrica: Metrica does not show that the client came from Alice.

Three times in a row, other brands: the problem is not the "mood of the algorithm". Compare with the competitor from the full audit: whose FAQ, listings, and technical access actually match.

A workable order

  1. A free express audit with GEO Score.
  2. The critical items: bots, NAP, FAQ, price list.
  3. Schema and llms.txt as a second stage.
  4. A full audit with an action plan, or done-for-you.

Where to start today

Do not hunt for "secret prompts" in Telegram. Open the bots, line up the listings, add the FAQ and schema. Without that, no trick holds.

Two platforms are two lead channels. Close one and hope for the other, and half the path sits idle. Pricing: here.

Yandex Neuro grows inside the Yandex ecosystem. ChatGPT is for people who already use assistants and a VPN. Together they cover a large share of "who to choose" in big cities. Ignoring one loop is a lost share of the market.

B2B is in this too: "a contractor to implement a CRM in [city]" more and more often starts in Yandex Neuro or ChatGPT. That needs cases, timelines, and licenses in HTML, not an abstract "market leader".

One price list on the site for every platform. A local business does not need a separate "text for ChatGPT". It needs agreement: the site, the maps, reviews, schema.

A short checklist: one query in Yandex Neuro and ChatGPT, names written down, GEO Score, the gap with a competitor, a plan for the red flags.

Two platforms, two channels. Close one and half the path sits idle. Pricing: here. Questions: FAQ.

Typical case: they only optimized for Yandex, and GPTBot was closed. Clients in Telegram ask ChatGPT "who to pick" and hear another name. They opened the bot and lined up the price list. The second channel came back over weeks, not in a day.

GigaChat and Perplexity are the sixth and seventh spots in a full Leadsy report. Block "all Western" and you lose more than ChatGPT.

A free audit shows the gap by platform, not one averaged score. Without a snapshot you optimize "one thing" in the dark.

Typical case: the owner is proud of GEO 71, and Alice names a competitor three times. The gap showed it: the leader has an FAQ on every service, you have three paragraphs on the homepage. The fix is not "another +5 on the score". It is the FAQ, in the order from the report.

An online store reads GEO differently: Product, stock, delivery. Services: FAQ, NAP, Service. B2B: cases, timelines, licenses. One score, different priorities in the report.

Who looks at GEO in the company: the owner once a month, marketing after edits, the developer on red technical flags. Without a rhythm the score goes stale.

Do not expect "in Alice tomorrow" after one edit. Technical access moves over weeks. Trust and mentions take longer. GEO shows what to fix first.

Typical case: the score rose 8 points after robots and the FAQ, and the owner dropped the upkeep. A quarter later the competitor caught up. The market moves too. GEO once a month, not once in a lifetime.

The express audit is free. The full one, with the gap and an action plan, is for when you need a queue a month ahead, not a list of a hundred "small things".

Perplexity and GigaChat in the full report are not "exotic". Block every Western bot and you lose ChatGPT and the neighboring crawlers.

The VPN audience in Russia asks ChatGPT about local services. Ignoring GPTBot hands the niche to whoever is open. The audit check: does the bot reach the FAQ.

Yandex Neuro in the app and Alice on a speaker are one ecosystem. Fix Yandex once: listings, YandexBot, an FAQ in Russian. Two products, one layer of facts.

Do not write a "separate text for ChatGPT". You need one price list, one phone, one FAQ in HTML. Models read facts, not prompts from articles.

After you open GPTBot, do not expect your name in the answer instantly. Weeks for a recrawl is normal. Stable access first, then patience.

Once a month: one query in Yandex Neuro, ChatGPT, and Alice. A table of names. Three times in a row a competitor: look at the gap in the audit.
